Welcome

I am a political ecologist interested in the role that non-state actors like banks and corporations play in sustainability governance. My research uses ethnographic methods to explore topics like corporate sustainability, voluntary sustainability standards, and impact investing, with a strong focus on on their ethical and political dimensions. I am currently a lecturer in sustainability at the University of York, where I am the programme leader of the MSc in Sustainable Business (SuBLIM). I am also co-editor-in-chief of Culture, Agriculture, Food & Environment.
